Stannah Group in Le Blanc-Mesnil is hiring an IT Infrastructure Apprentice to join Group IT. You will support, maintain, and secure IT infrastructure, provide 1st/2nd line support, and assist with servers, networks, and cybersecurity initiatives.

You will work full-time on an apprenticeship/professionalisation contract, gaining hands-on experience across VMware, Proxmox, Hyper-V, and Microsoft tools in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent through an apprenticeship.
• Solid knowledge of Windows workstations/servers, AD, and core networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Familiarity with virtualization and cybersecurity concepts; scripting skills a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support for users via Freshdesk.
• Deploy and maintain Windows devices, AD accounts, Intune devices, updates and backups.
• Assist with systems, virtualization, and network administration (VMware, Proxmox, Hyper‑V).
• Support cybersecurity initiatives using monitoring and backup tools.
• Contribute to IT projects including Microsoft 365 migration and server upgrades.

Stannah have an exciting opportunity for an IT Infrastructure Apprentice to join the Group IT team based in Le Blanc Mesnil

This role will involve supporting and maintaining the IT infrastructure across the business, providing first and second line technical support to internal users, and assisting with systems, network and cybersecurity administration activities. Working closely with the local IT Manager, Group IT teams and the CISO, you will gain hands‑on experience across a broad range of technologies while contributing to key IT transformation projects.

As the IT Alternance you will work full-time hours. This role is offered as an apprenticeship/professionalisation contract.

To be successful as the IT Alternance, it is essential that you have a good understanding of Windows environments, networking fundamentals and Active Directory administration. Experience with virtualisation technologies, cybersecurity tools, PowerShell scripting or Microsoft Intune would be desirable.

IT Alternance Responsibilities:

• Provide first and second line technical support, managing incidents and service requests through Freshdesk while supporting hardware, software and business applications.
• Deploy and maintain Windows workstations, Active Directory accounts, Microsoft Intune devices, software updates and backup solutions.
• Assist with systems, virtualisation and network administration activities, including VMware, Proxmox, Hyper‑V, DHCP, DNS and Active Directory management.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives by working with monitoring, detection and backup technologies such as Zabbix, Wazuh and Veeam.
• Contribute to key IT projects including Microsoft 365 migration, cybersecurity solution deployment and server infrastructure upgrades.

IT Alternance Requirements:

• Studying towards a Master's degree in Computer Science or a similar IT-related qualification through an apprenticeship or professionalisation pathway.
• Knowledge of Windows workstations and servers, Active Directory, Group Policy and core networking concepts including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS and VPN technologies.
• Understanding of virtualisation platforms such as VMware vSphere, Proxmox or Hyper‑V, along with an awareness of cybersecurity and backup principles.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills, with a proactive approach to learning and supporting users.
