Phagos is seeking a Microbiology Lab Technician Intern to work on our Lab Ops team, applying phage techniques to tackle bacterial pathogens in animal health. You will be an active contributor, not just shadowing, in a hands-on, high-impact internship at a biotech startup.

You will collaborate with scientists to design phage-based strategies, follow protocols with a focus on safety and reproducibility, and gain valuable experience in development, scale-up and data analysis within an international

Qualifications

• Hands-on bench microbiology techniques and protocols.
• Must be enrolled in a 3rd-year Bachelor’s (L3/BUT 3) or BTS/DUT in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biological Engineering, or related Life Sciences.
• English proficiency at B2 level (written & spoken).

What You’ll Do:

• Support the development, scale‑up, and validation of innovative lab processes

• Keep meticulous records and analyze experimental data

What We’re Looking For:

Current Education: Enrolled in a 3rd-year Bachelor’s degree (L3 / BUT 3) or BTS / DUT ( Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biological Engineering, or related Life Sciences field).

Technical Skills: Solid hands‑on experience with foundational bench microbiology techniques (aseptic technique, culturing, plating, serial dilutions, etc.).

Mindset: Highly organized, proactive, self‑motivated, and eager to learn in an adaptive environment.

Bonus: Prior knowledge or experience with phage biology is a big plus!

Languages: Minimum B2 English level (written & spoken), as Phagos operates in an international environment.
