Phagos is seeking a Microbiology Lab Technician Intern to work on our Lab Ops team, applying phage techniques to tackle bacterial pathogens in animal health. You will be an active contributor, not just shadowing, in a hands-on, high-impact internship at a biotech startup.

You will collaborate with scientists to design phage-based strategies, follow protocols with a focus on safety and reproducibility, and gain valuable experience in development, scale-up and data analysis within an international

Qualifications

• Hands-on bench microbiology techniques and protocols.
• Must be enrolled in a 3rd-year Bachelor’s (L3/BUT 3) or BTS/DUT in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biological Engineering, or related Life Sciences.
• English proficiency at B2 level (written & spoken).

Responsabilités

• Perform routine microbiological tests with precision and efficiency.
• Culture bacteria, isolate and characterize phages.
• Collaborate with scientists to design and execute phage-based strategies.
• Follow and help refine protocols, ensuring accuracy, safety and reproducibility.
• Support development, scale-up and validation of lab processes.
• Keep meticulous records and analyze experimental data.
