Emerson is seeking a proactive, high-energy sales professional to win new logos in the industrial IPC and embedded computing space. You will own the full sales cycle, penetrating complex organizations and translating requirements into tailored hardware solutions that deliver ROI and uptime.
This front-line growth role targets OEMs, machine builders, and system integrators with strong collaboration across Engineering and Product Management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent technical experience.
- Several years of hunter sales experience in technical B2B environments.
- Proven record in consultative selling of complex engineered solutions.
- Experience with OEMs, machine builders, and system integrators.
Responsibilities
- Proactively hunt and acquire new customers in target industrial segments for IPCs and embedded systems.
- Identify, qualify, and penetrate strategic accounts; uncover technical requirements.
- Lead discovery meetings and shape customer needs early in the buying cycle.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Manufacturing on tailored concepts.
- Develop and present winning proposals, architectures, and technical presentations.
- Guide customers through prototypes, testing, and approval phases to accelerate decisions.
- Build long-term relationships with technical influencers and decision-makers.
- Monitor market trends and identify new hunting opportunities in Industry 4.0.
