Job summary

Infinite Orbits is seeking a Procurement Officer for Indirect Purchasing to join our Supply Chain team in Toulouse. You will ensure the availability of goods and services essential for daily operations.

You will enter indirect purchase orders in Odoo, monitor delivery times, approve invoices, and coordinate with Accounts Payable to resolve discrepancies while maintaining supplier relationships and supporting internal clients with order status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Business Management preferred.
• Experience in indirect purchasing or expenses management is desirable.
• Proficient with standard IT tools; experience with ERP systems (Odoo is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Enter and transmit indirect purchase orders in our information system (Odoo) while respecting negotiated conditions.
• Monitor delivery times and anticipate shortages; follow up with suppliers on delays.
• Review and approve supplier invoices by matching them with orders and receipts.
• Handle delivery non-conformities and resolve billing disputes with Accounts Payable.
• Maintain smooth communication with suppliers and assist internal clients with orders.

Infinite Orbits is a growing company operating in the New Space sector. To strengthen our Supply Chain / Purchasing department, we are looking for a Procurement Officer dedicated to Indirect Purchasing to join our teams based in Toulouse.

Job Description

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you ensure the availability of goods and services necessary for the proper functioning of the company. Your main responsibilities include:

Enter and transmit indirect purchase orders in our information system (Odoo) while respecting the negotiated conditions.

Monitor delivery times, anticipate shortages, and follow up with suppliers in case of delays.

Review, verify, and approve supplier invoices by matching them with purchase orders and goods receipts.

Handle delivery non-conformities and resolve billing disputes in coordination with Accounts Payable.

Maintain smooth communication with our supplier panel and evaluate their performance.

Assist internal clients in expressing their needs and keep them informed of their order status.

Participate in updating item/supplier databases and propose actions to optimize procurement processes.

Requirements

Education: At least Bachelor's degree specializing in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Business Management.

Experience: You have a first successful experience in a similar role, ideally in indirect purchasing or general expenses management.

Technical Skills: Proficient in standard IT tools and good working knowledge of an ERP system (Odoo experience is a plus).

Soft Skills: You are recognized for your rigor, organizational skills, and responsiveness. Endowed with excellent interpersonal skills, you can communicate effectively in English with various stakeholders (suppliers, internal clients, accounting).
