Job summary

Umicore is seeking an HSE Coordinator to support the deployment and monitoring of the site’s Health, Safety and Environment policy. The role includes delivering training sessions, maintaining documentation, and contributing to continuous HSE improvement.

Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will support audits, incident investigations, and action plans, helping foster a strong safety culture across site operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Health, Safety and Environment or a related field.
• Experience in an industrial environment would be an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to deliver health, safety and environmental training sessions.
• Proficient with standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and update the HSE implementation plan per Group standards.
• Review and update regulatory and operational documentation (risk assessments, environmental docs, etc.).
• Collect, consolidate and update HSE statistics and KPIs.
• Maintain HSE databases (training records, certifications, actions, IT tools).
• Draft, revise and communicate HSE procedures and instructions.
