Job summary

Silversea in France seeks an experienced housekeeping professional to maintain pristine public and crew areas, officer cabins and restrooms aboard our premium ships. You will deliver cabin services like turn-down, laundry support, and luggage handling while upholding strict sanitation standards.

With at least two years in upscale hotel, resort, or cruise housekeeping, you will contribute to guest satisfaction, participate in training, and assist with ship operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years housekeeping experience in upscale hotels, resorts, or cruise ships.
• Maintains cleanliness of public areas, crew areas, officer cabins, and restrooms.
• Provides cabin services including turn-down service, laundry/valet support, and luggage handling.
• Handles cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies safely and ensures proper storage.
• Supports ship operations through embarkation/disembarkation duties and guest assistance.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation, public health, and company policies.
• Delivers excellent guest service and communicates effectively with guests and crew.
• Participates in training and onboarding of new staff while maintaining high standards.
• Assists with maintenance and reports equipment issues; promotes cost awareness.
• Upholds professionalism, grooming standards, and company code of conduct.
• Additional language skills, particularly Spanish, are preferred.

• Supports ship operations through embarkation/disembarkation duties, towel and umbrella distribution, wheelchair assistance, and requisition management.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation, public health, outbreak response, and company policies and procedures.
• Delivers excellent guest service, addresses concerns professionally, and maintains effective communication with guests and crew.
• Participates in training, teamwork, and onboarding of new staff while maintaining high-performance standards.
• Assists with maintenance, reports equipment issues, minimizes waste, and promotes cost awareness.
• Upholds professionalism, confidentiality, grooming standards, and company code of conduct at all times.
