Job summary

Caviar Careers is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for a luxury resort in Sharjah, UAE. The role oversees daily housekeeping operations, with a focus on white-glove, discreet service and high presentation standards for VIP guests.

European passport holders are preferred, and visa relocation assistance is available. Requirements include a hospitality diploma or degree and 5–7 years in hospitality, including at least 3 years in a supervisory housekeeping role within luxury hotels or resorts.

Responsibilities

• Establish and uphold luxury housekeeping standards and procedures.
• Assign daily tasks and inspect work to ensure cleanliness across all areas.
• Conduct orientation and ongoing training for housekeeping staff on procedures and equipment.
• Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment and request materials as needed.
• Maintain records of work assignments, staffing, and related documentation.
• Prepare periodic operational reports for management.
• Schedule shifts and arrange replacements for staff absences.
• Oversee daily snagging and timely resolution of maintenance issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards.

PURPOSE

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations within the luxury resort, ensuring all assigned areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. The role includes supervising housekeeping staff, assigning duties, inspecting work, and supporting the Housekeeping Manager in maintaining operational efficiency and service excellence.The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience delivering white-glove, discreet, and detail-driven housekeeping service, with a strong understanding of protocol, etiquette, and high-net-worth individual expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or related field
• EU and UK Passport preferred

EXPERIENCE

• 5–7 years’ experience in the hospitality industry
• Minimum 3 years in a similar supervisory housekeeping role within luxury hotels or resorts

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
• Experience working in structured luxury service hierarchies
• Ability to maintain 5 star plus -level presentation standards at all times
• Strong familiarity with VVIP guest expectations and confidentiality
• High attention to detail and proactive service mindset
• Ability to manage housekeeping teams in a high-pressure, high-standard environment

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule shifts and arrange replacements for staff absences
• Recommend improvements to enhance service quality and operational efficiency
• Motivate and support team members, resolving day-to-day operational issues
• Oversee daily snagging and ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager

SALARY

AED 19,500 per month Tax free in UAE
