Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect assigned areas using department procedures.
• Use cleaning chemicals properly per Joint Commission and OSHA standards.
• Understand procedures and properly dispose of infectious waste and trash.
• Handle and clean up emergency spills per department guidelines and standards.
• Follow infection prevention practices including PPE donning/doffing and hand hygiene.
• Maintain work and storage areas according to policy for safety.
