Job summary

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice.
• BLS for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care and responsive, customer-focused service.
• Report patient condition changes and seek qualified assistance as needed.
• Monitor patients and support telemetry as required by unit.
• Transport medications to RN when on unit.
• Collaborate with RN and interdisciplinary team for optimal care.
• Possibly perform health unit coordinator duties (phones, orders, records).
• Follow plan of care and delegated tasks; adhere to regulatory standards.
• Maintain safety and emergency response practices.
