Chariot is seeking a risk, trust & safety oriented leader to own the risk surface end to end, including security, fraud and product risk. You will partner with engineering to stress-test payment flows and establish a living risk catalog, while communicating findings to leadership.

You will apply first-principles thinking in a fast-moving fintech environment, aligning risk strategies with product goals and ensuring robust risk mitigations across teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in risk, fraud, trust & safety, or a related operating role in fintech/payments
• First-principles and systems thinker with technical/product depth
• Detail oriented with excellent written/verbal communication
• Proactive with strong people skills and ability to influence stakeholders
• Comfortable collaborating in a fast-moving, cross-functional team
• Team player with ownership mindset and willingness to take on more work
• Relentlessly curious about product/tech and risk mapping

Responsabilités

• Own Chariot's risk surface end to end: tech, security/infra, fraud, and product risk
• Maintain a living catalog of risk exposure and update it regularly
• Partner with engineering to pressure-test core payment flows and mitigate impact
• Understand product/technology deeply to spot risks before they arise
• Stand up proactive monitoring and mitigation cadence across risk surface
• Apply systems thinking to identify, prioritize, and close risk gaps
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering so new features ship with risk accounted for
• Present top risks and mitigation plans to leadership regularly
