Chariot is seeking an engineering leader to take our platform to the next level. You will guide the evolution of our banking and DAF products, shaping technology strategy and building a growing backend team.

You’ll work closely with the CEO and founders to deliver scalable software and mentor a tight-knit group of engineers. You’ll own backend server development, contribute to API design, and drive delivery in an Agile/Scrum setting, while exploring new technologies that expand our impact for

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
• 2+ years as a backend application developer building scalable backend systems.
• Bachelor’s Degree, ideally technical, but diverse backgrounds are welcome.
• Proficiency with Go, Node, Docker, Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, REST APIs and gRPC.
• Strong ownership and delivery mindset; able to drive projects end-to-end.

Responsabilités

• Manage and build backend server applications and components powering the platform.
• Contribute to architecture and API design; set team standards and practices.
• Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies.
• Improve real-time and analytical monitoring and alerting for user behavior.
• Communicate effectively with founders, PMs and other developers.
• Plan and deliver work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
