Chariot is seeking an experienced backend lead to take our platform to the next level. You will drive the evolution of our banking and DAF products, shape the technology strategy, and mentor a growing team of software engineers in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

You will partner with the CEO and founding engineers to build scalable systems that support current and upcoming contracts, implement robust APIs, and foster ownership and delivery mindset across the team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development experience.
• 2+ years as a backend developer building scalable systems.
• Bachelor’s degree, ideally technical.
• Proficient with Go, Node.js, Docker, Terraform, and Kubernetes.

Responsabilités

• Manage and build backend server applications and components.
• Contribute to API, backend architecture, and coding standards.
• Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies.
• Improve real-time monitoring and alerting capabilities.
• Communicate effectively with founders and product teams.
• Deliver projects within an Agile/Scrum framework.
