Spiko, the AI-native fintech treasury platform, is hiring a Head of Engineering to scale its 8-engineer team (planning to triple). This is a hands-on leadership role focused on delivery, architecture, hiring, and org design in Paris or London.

You’ll work side by side with the Product team, own the product roadmap, and shape the org for rapid growth while maintaining high standards of talent, velocity, and quality.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading 20+ engineers
• Experience at an A+ startup or scale-up during rapid growth
• Hands-on coding and architecture
• Product-minded with strong opinions on what to build
• Exceptional hiring ability

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end engineering delivery: architecture, quality, velocity, reliability for large-scale payments
• Tripling the team within a year while keeping a high talent bar
• Design the organization for scale: team structure, ownership, incident management, security/compliance by design
• Make AI a structural advantage: tooling, workflows, standards to multiply output
• Stay hands-on: code, review, architecture decisions, unblock hardest problems
• Collaborate with founders on technical strategy, build vs buy, infra and regulatory choices
