IXO is seeking an evaluator to examine a Go repository, tracing code paths and runtime behavior to produce evidence-backed findings. You will craft questions and reference answers that accurately reflect how the code behaves in practice.

Preferred candidates have 3+ years in professional Go development, experience with interfaces, concurrency, module design, and containerized workflows. Remote assignments are scheduled by agreement, with USD pay per task.

IXO is engaging specialists to evaluate behavioral questions that test a developer's understanding of a Go repository. Your contribution is technical work: make the reasoning inspectable, identify substantive errors and provide evidence that supports a reliable assessment.

Work you will do

• Investigate code paths, runtime behavior and relevant concurrency or language details using appropriate execution evidence.
• Write questions and reference answers that explain the repository's actual behavior.
• Build clear grading criteria that accept sound explanations and reject answers that merely repeat plausible Go terminology.

Preferred background

• At least three years in professional software development with significant Go work; follow unfamiliar code through real execution.
• Go interfaces, concurrency, module design, standard-library behavior, generated code and builds; distributed systems, storage, networking or Kubernetes tooling provide useful domain depth.
• Comfort with Git commits, containers, terminal tools and unambiguous written questions and grading criteria.

Deliverables

Submit the completed technical artifact or assessment with its supporting evidence, explicit assumptions, reproducible checks where applicable, and concise reasons for each material judgment. Address review findings within the agreed scope.

Location and schedule

Remote assignments are scheduled by agreement, with no guaranteed weekly volume. IXO confirms the applicable timing before work.

$140/task USD. Payment is for a completed task that meets the agreed acceptance criteria.
