Job summary

We are seeking an R&D Manager & Hardware Team Lead to guide an international hardware engineering team across Germany, France, the UK and the US. You will influence technology strategy and drive hands-on design in low-voltage and power electronics while aligning with cross-functional partners.

You will lead engineers across multiple sites, manage project execution in a global matrix organization, and collaborate with UAE and India teams to deliver innovative solutions with limited travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Significant experience in hardware design and development, including hands-on engineering.
• Proven people management experience, ideally leading geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong knowledge of power electronics, analog and digital electronics, and embedded systems.
• Experience working in a matrix organization and within global project environments.
• Project management experience is desirable.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop an international team of hardware engineers across multiple locations.
• Drive the design and development of electronic products, including power electronics, analog and digital hardware, and embedded systems.
• Define technical solutions and support product roadmaps in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure successful execution of development projects, balancing quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
• Support hardware verification, product validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Foster collaboration across engineering, product management, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
• Coordinate effectively with global engineering stakeholders to ensure alignment across sites and functions.
