Job summary

Eaton is seeking an experienced R&D Manager & Hardware Team Lead to steer an international hardware engineering team across Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and the United States, with collaboration in the UAE and India.

Based in Montbonnot-Saint-Martin or related sites, you will drive development of low-voltage and power electronics solutions, oversee hardware design across multiple product lines, and balance technical leadership with people management in a global matrix.

Qualifications

• Experience leading geographically dispersed hardware teams.
• Strong knowledge of power, analog and digital electronics.
• Hands-on hardware design experience in a matrix organization.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead an international hardware engineering team across Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
• Drive design and development of electronic products, including power electronics, analog and digital hardware, and embedded systems.
• Define technical solutions and support product roadmaps with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure successful execution of development projects balancing quality, cost and delivery.
• Support hardware verification, product validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Foster collaboration across engineering, product management, manufacturing, and supply chain.
• Coordinate with global stakeholders to align sites and functions.
