Valeo’s Étaples-sur-Mer site is seeking an Electronics Engineer (Hardware) with 5+ years of experience to drive hardware development for electric powertrain solutions. You will work on defining specifications, integrating subassemblies, and leading validation plans in a production-focused environment.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, experience with high-voltage components, and fluency in English to collaborate in international projects, with the possibility of remote work one day per

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electronic Engineering and at least 5 years of hardware development experience.
• Hands-on engineering with production challenges.
• Familiarity with PDCA and 8D problem-solving methods.
• Experience with high-voltage products (DC/DC converters, OBCs, inverters) is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Define technical specifications and adapt electronic architectures to customer needs.
• Integrate hardware subassemblies and perform system level tests.
• Define and execute test and validation plans (functional, environmental, EMC).
• Contribute technical expertise in responses to proposals.
• Identify alternative components to address obsolescence and optimize costs.
