Wärtsilä is seeking a Proposal Manager / Proposal Engineer to join the Africa & Europe Proposal Management team. The role involves preparing and managing technical and commercial proposals across markets, with opportunities to grow into broader proposal and commercial leadership.

The preferred locations are Vaasa (Finland) or Paris (France) with hybrid work options. You will work with Sales and a broad international network of experts to translate customer requirements into competitive

Qualifications

• Requires relevant technical, commercial, or engineering background.
• Experience in proposal engineering or proposal management considered a plus.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder-management abilities are essential.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with Sales and cross-functional teams to translate customer requirements into competitive proposals.
• Develop technical and commercial proposals with input from Engineering, Product Management, Project Management, Finance, Legal and Supply Management.
• Plan proposals, manage inputs, deadlines and deliverables to ensure consistency and quality.
• Identify and communicate risks and opportunities related to proposals and negotiations.
• Participate in customer meetings and support commercial negotiations.
