Job summary

Alma seeks a Germany-based Country Manager to build and lead the local sales team, own the P&L, and tailor the GTM for the German market. You will work with Marketing, Partnerships, Product, Legal, Risk and Operations to unlock local growth and win opportunities with enterprise and mid-market customers.

You will represent Alma to merchants, partners and industry events, build the local partner ecosystem, and drive cross-functional initiatives, reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Native German, professional English
• 8+ years in B2B commercial roles, enterprise sales
• Experience hiring, coaching and developing senior AEs
• Comfortable operating in a matrix organization
• Based in France or Germany with strong local network in commerce/retail

Responsibilities

• Build, hire, and lead the local sales team.
• Own the country P&L and track performance vs. plan.
• Define and execute the 12–18 month GTM for Germany.
• Drive cross-functional squads with Product, Marketing, Legal, Partnerships and Ops.
• Represent Alma to merchants, partners, media and events; build local ecosystem.
• Collaborate with Gong, Aircall and Dust for sales enablement.
