AXA Group Operations seeks an AI Engineer Expert to design, build, deploy, and continuously improve production-grade AI and GenAI solutions aligning with AXA's strategic priorities. You will work at the forefront of GenAI, shaping scalable, responsible AI capabilities across AXA entities.

This high-exposure role involves collaboration with stakeholders, strong hands-on engineering, and governance to ensure measurable business value while maintaining safety and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years delivering AI/ML-enabled products, GenAI applications, or agentic systems in production environments.
• Experience contributing to evaluation, observability, reliability, or optimisation practices for GenAI applications.
• Strong understanding of AI operational drivers (quality, latency, cost, usage, safety, privacy, business value).
• Experience working in cross-functional teams with ownership of work packages.
• Experience in insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Work closely with AXA entities and business units to understand needs and translate them into AI solutions.
• Design, develop, deploy, and operate AI and GenAI solutions delivering measurable value for AXA entities.
• Evolve shared AI engineering practices including evaluation, observability, performance, cost efficiency, safety and governance.
• Support GenAI evaluation, AI consumption optimisation, and adapt to new AI engineering priorities over time.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, product managers, platform teams, and stakeholders to translate opportunities into robust technical solutions.
• Contribute to guardrails for scalable, reliable, secure, and responsible AI systems across the organisation.
