Job summary

AXA Group Operations seeks an AI Engineering Lead to steer the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of production-grade AI and GenAI solutions across AXA entities. You will mentor teams, shape engineering practices, and align AI initiatives with strategic priorities.

You will collaborate with data scientists, product managers, platform teams, and business stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and measurable AI capabilities while guiding governance on usage, cost, and safety.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering AI/ML-enabled products, GenAI applications, or AI platforms in production environments.
• Experience with evaluation, observability, reliability, or optimisation practices for GenAI apps.
• Understanding of AI operational drivers: quality, latency, cost, usage, safety, privacy, business value.

Responsibilities

• Engage with AXA entities and business units to co-create AI solutions and drive adoption.
• Lead design, development, deployment, and operation of AI/GenAI solutions.
• Contribute to shared AI engineering practices including evaluation, observability, performance, and cost efficiency.
