OpenAI’s Forward Deployed Engineering team partners with customers to turn research breakthroughs into production systems in Paris. This role leads end-to-end deployments of frontier models, owning discovery, scoping, system design, build, and rollout in collaboration with customer teams.

You’ll measure success through production adoption and impact, working with Product, Research, Security, and GTM. The position is based in Paris with a hybrid model (3 days in office).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering or technical deployment experience.
• Experience delivering complex systems in fast-moving environments.
• Production-grade code in frontend and backend (Python/JavaScript).

Responsabilités

• Own discovery, technical scoping, system design, build and rollout for deployments.
• Collaborate with customer engineering and domain teams to deliver value.
• Measure success via production adoption and impact on workflows.
• Contribute to tools, playbooks, and building blocks for reuse.
• Share feedback with Research and Product to improve models and features.
• Maintain clarity and drive progress across teams.
