Job summary

ARHS Group, part of Accenture, seeks a Senior Operations Support Engineer (L2) in Strasbourg to ensure stability, performance, and reliability of enterprise IT environments. You will own high-severity incidents, lead investigations, and push automation to improve operations.

The role requires 7+ years in IT operations, 3+ years in senior roles, and strong ITIL and middleware expertise. Onsite with client, freelancers only, based in Strasbourg.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in enterprise IT operations or equivalent.
• 3+ years in a senior operational role managing cross-system incidents.
• Proficient with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Event, Capacity).
• Strong experience with middleware/integration tech and cloud-native environments.
• Advanced observability, logging, and performance monitoring expertise.
• Solid Linux/Unix, container orchestration, and CI/CD experience.
• Automation, scripting, and capacity planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-severity incidents across interconnected systems and communicate with stakeholders.
• Lead technical investigations, root-cause analyses, and post-incident reviews.
• Define and improve monitoring strategies, baselines, alerts, and observability.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and environment optimization per client baselines.
• Validate deployment plans, rollback procedures, and testing with DevSecOps and DBAs.
• Prepare operational reports, capacity analyses, and recommendations for improvements.
• Contribute to automation initiatives to reduce manual intervention and improve reliability.
• Support middleware and integration tech: API management, messaging, event streaming, data transformation, identity access management.
• Support Linux/Unix, containerized environments, and CI/CD integration with operations.
• Lead technical incident bridges and provide clear stakeholder updates.
