Job summary

Fastly, Inc. is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer for France to support Enterprise Sales Executives, partners and Major Account Managers across the French region by owning the technical solution throughout the sales process.

This includes scoping, architecting, proofs-of-concept and ROI demonstrations. You will promote Fastly edge solutions, drive technical wins, and collaborate with customers remotely or face-to-face.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in internet-centric software and security products.
• Experience in a vendor or systems integrator pre-sales role is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of web applications, TLS, DNS, WAF and CDN; CI/CD and DevOps knowledge is a bonus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, CS, MIS or comparable field is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support a team of sales, account management and partnerships throughout the opportunity lifecycle.
• Be the technical expert on Fastly products and explain differentiators against competitors.
• Work remotely and with customers; use Slack, Zoom, Jira, GSuite, Confluence, GitHub and SFDC.
• Keep technical skills current, demo build and run a lab environment.
• Represent Fastly at events as a technical Subject Matter Expert and support marketing.
