This is a hands-on first commercial hire in Paris, running a new business unit from the first sales call to customer support, with a lot of freedom. A strong candidate is comfortable doing every part of the job themselves, turning messy experience into simple repeatable processes, and working in both French and English. Background in corporate insurance or reinsurance, or a fast-moving client-facing job, would help a lot.
AI tools are built into the daily work here, with the person expected to use coding assistants to automate bottlenecks alongside technical colleagues. That should free time from repetitive tasks and speed up how processes get built. What stays human is judging what is good, building trust with risk and finance buyers, and spotting when an AI output is generic or wrong.
Someone in this role would learn how AI-driven actuarial and insurance analytics gets sold to corporate risk managers and finance leaders, and how to use AI coding tools to automate real sales and operations work. To prepare, practice using Claude Code or Codex on small workflow problems, such as organizing lead lists or drafting customer templates, and keep notes on what worked and what needed a human fix.
