Job summary

LumApps SAS is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineering Manager to lead customer-facing technical delivery of AI Agents, RAG workflows, and enterprise integrations across multiple global clients. You will own delivery timelines, design technical solutions, mitigate risk, and manage an elite squad of Forward Deployed Engineers, while coordinating with Core R&D to build reusable platform features.

This role blends hands-on leadership with strategic governance, requiring strong software engineering

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering background.
• 3+ years of people management experience.
• Experience in forward deployed engineering or professional services.
• Proven track record in integrating enterprise ecosystems (SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
• Fluent in English.
• Willingness to travel 10–15%.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery accountability across concurrent customer deployments, from technical discovery to production go-live and enterprise sign-off.
• Translate customer use cases into structured technical roadmaps, work breakdowns, and release sprints; manage backlogs and critical delivery paths.
• Run technical risk management: identify architectural bottlenecks, integration blockers, and API dependencies before they impact delivery timelines.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Forward Deployed Engineers.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Account Executives to scope upcoming enterprise engagements and establish high-impact delivery commitments.
• Package bespoke client solutions into reusable platform features and templates; coordinate with Core R&D to feed back into central codebase.
