Job summary

MLabs is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to own the technical customer journey, guiding strategic clients from discovery through implementation, production rollout, adoption and scaling. You will collaborate with product, sales, and engineering leaders to deliver high-value AI solutions.

The role emphasizes hands-on AI development using LLMs, tool integration, RAG, and scalable architectures, with a focus on end-to-end delivery in a global, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in forward deployed/solutions engineering with end-to-end customer ownership.
• Strong ability to evaluate trade-offs across client needs, product features, engineering complexity, cost and latency.
• Hands-on experience building AI-powered applications, including model APIs, context management, tool integration, and RAG.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end AI deployments from discovery to production rollout and adoption.
• Lead pre-sales technical discovery, design AI solutions, and validate opportunities.
• Drive post-sales technical execution by building scalable production AI systems.
• Develop AI applications using LLMs, tool calls, retrieval architectures and agentic workflows.
• Translate customer feedback into product improvements and reusable components.
