Lucis is building the OS for human longevity and seeks a Finance Operations & Strategy Lead to own the financial operating system. You will work directly with the founders, shaping budgets, forecasts, dashboards, and strategic analyses while refining processes and controls for scaling across Europe.

You will collaborate with the leadership team to build models for pricing, hiring, investments, and partnerships, ensuring clear financial storytelling for investors and boards.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in finance, FP&A, accounting operations, strategy, or a combination of these.
• Experience in a fast-growing startup, technology company, or similarly demanding context.
• Strong understanding of cash flow, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls.
• Extremely comfortable with the latest of Claude Finance, and the AI finance stack.
• Excellent financial modelling skills.
• Able to turn messy data into clear analysis and practical decisions; basic coding knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain finance clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Experience with multi-country European operations, subscriptions, healthcare, or consumer businesses is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Build financial visibility: maintain cash runway, revenue, costs, working capital, and unit economics; own the budget and rolling forecasts; lead budget-versus-actual reviews; build dashboards and concise reports; translate data into decisions.
• Support strategic decisions: build models for pricing, hiring, market expansion, partnerships, and investments; assess resource allocation; prepare analyses for leadership, investors, and the board; explain financial impacts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Raise the bar: implement tools and processes for scaling across markets; use automation and AI to reduce repetitive work with controls; partner with Operations, Growth, Product, and Engineering to create a single truth source; gradually build the finance function.
• Own finance operations: manage accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, collections, expenses, payroll coordination, cash management; coordinate with external accountants, banks, auditors; run monthly close and ensure timely reporting; establish processes, controls, and documentation; ensure cross-market compliance.
