Chain of Events is seeking a Finance Operations Intern to support day-to-day financial tasks and participate in hands-on projects to optimize our financial workflows. You will test, configure, and implement new tools, gaining exposure to the full financial cycle from day one.

The role requires proactive problem-solving, structured organization, and autonomy in a fast-growing startup with international scope. Fluency in English and good French are required; knowledge of Pennylane is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: Specializing in Accounting, Finance, or Business Admin.
• Fluent English is mandatory; a good level of French is also required.
• Knowledge of Pennylane or similar ERP is a significant plus.

Responsabilités

• Manage and track the daily billing cycle (Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable).
• Act as the main contact for our accounting firm via Pennylane (uploading, organizing, and reconciling documents).
• Track and follow up on vendor/supplier registrations on client procurement platforms, to ensure invoices can be processed and paid without delay.
• Maintain and update internal financial dashboards.
• Work with Sales and CS teams on signed contracts and invoicing briefs; coordinate on billing questions.
• Assist in debt collection and payment tracking.
• Handle general administrative tasks (contracts, filings).
• Identify and implement process improvements/tools to increase efficiency.
