Chain of Events is seeking a Finance Operations Intern to support day-to-day financial tasks and participate in hands-on projects to optimize our financial workflows. You will test, configure, and implement new tools, gaining exposure to the full financial cycle from day one.
The role requires proactive problem-solving, structured organization, and autonomy in a fast-growing startup with international scope. Fluency in English and good French are required; knowledge of Pennylane is a plus.
Chain of Events is a pioneering event organization company creating world-class, large-scale conferences at the intersection of blockchain, AI, and emerging technologies. We are the force behind:
Our events bring together global leaders, innovators, investors, and regulators to spark dialogue and action in transformative industries.
We’re looking for a Finance Operations Intern to join our team and help us build scalable financial processes. In this role, you’ll split your time between day-to-day financial support tasks and hands‑on projects to streamline our systems. You’ll be directly involved in testing, configuring, and implementing new tools to optimize our financial workflows. If you enjoy problem‑solving, structured organization, and exploring new management software, we’d love to meet you!
You will be at the heart of the business operations. Your mission is to ensure the administrative and financial fluidity of the structure. You will work directly with and report to the person managing Finance operations — a small, hands‑on setup where you'll have real ownership and exposure to the full financial cycle from day one, rather than being one of many interns lost in a large team.
We are looking for a proactive partner, not just an executor.
Education: Specializing in Accounting, Finance, or Business Admin.
Technical Skills: Comfortable with numbers and management tools (Knowledge of Pennylane or similar ERP is a significant plus).
Languages: Fluent English is mandatory (international work environment); a good level of French is also required, as the role involves day‑to‑day interactions with French tax rules and a French accounting firm.
