Peak International Group are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our Service Delivery team in France. Based in the Lyon area, you will provide high-quality technical service, support and advice to our customers, OEM partners, distributors and internal teams.

You will primarily work independently at customer sites, carrying out planned maintenance, installations, emergency repairs, training and technical support across our product range.

Formación

• Strong practical and technical problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of pressure systems and transportable gases.
• Electrical and electronics knowledge, including understanding electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Fluency in French and English.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out routine maintenance, emergency repairs and product installations.
• Deliver customer training and general technical support.
• Respond professionally and efficiently to service and support requests by telephone and email.
• Produce clear and accurate service reports using the mobile CRM system.
• Manage and replenish your personal stock of spare parts and complete inventory checks when required.
• Support other Field Service Engineers across the region.
• Work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Engineering and Production.
• Continually develop your technical knowledge and understanding of the full product range.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, health and safety, and professional conduct.
• Support service management in the field or office when required

Peak International Group are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our Service Delivery team in France. Based in the Lyon area, you will provide high-quality technical service, support and advice to our customers, OEM partners, distributors and internal teams.

You will primarily work independently at customer sites, carrying out planned maintenance, installations, emergency repairs, training and technical support across our product range. Your work will play an important part in maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring our customers receive a professional, responsive and reliable service.

You will also work closely with colleagues across Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Engineering and Production, helping us deliver a joined-up customer experience and identify potential new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance, emergency repairs and product installations.
• Deliver customer training and general technical support.
• Respond professionally and efficiently to service and support requests received by telephone and email.

About you

You will be self-motivated, adaptable and comfortable working independently at customer locations. You will take a practical, methodical approach to diagnosing and resolving technical issues while maintaining clear communication with customers and colleagues.

You will bring:

• Strong practical and technical problem-solving skills.
• A methodical approach to fault-finding and repairs.
• Knowledge and understanding of pressure systems and transportable gases.
• Knowledge of electricity and electronics, including understanding electrical schematics to support troubleshooting
• The ability to learn new products and technical skills quickly.
• Confidence working independently with minimal supervision.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to tight deadlines
• The ability to build effective relationships with customers and colleagues at all levels.
• A commitment to complying with customer health and safety requirements.
• Fluency in French and English is essential to communicate with clients and colleagues.
• Flexibility to travel throughout France and occasionally to other European countries
