Jobtailor in Avignon, France is seeking an experienced electrician/field service professional to commission products, troubleshoot on-site cabling and equipment, and prepare detailed post-service reports. You will also manage customer interventions, inventory, and training while coordinating with regional leaders.

The role requires 5–10 years in the field, BTS/DUT in electronics or equivalent, and a valid B driver’s license. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 to 10 years of successful experience as an electrician or in a similar position.
• Self-motivated and well organized, with the ability to schedule customer interventions and manage the service calendar
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• BTS or DUT qualification in Electronics / Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• Valid Category B driver’s license required
• Passion for technology and the ability to share technical expertise

Responsabilités

• Commission products according to customer requirements
• Troubleshoot on customer sites, particularly cabling and equipment issues
• Prepare a post-service report detailing the diagnosis, identified malfunctions, actions taken, and solutions provided
• Follow up with the customer regarding the service intervention
• Escalate incidents to the Technical Department and management through improvement requests and quality reports
• Perform storage operations and manage inventory in accordance with quality procedures and deadlines
• Conduct the year-end inventory
• Train customers on product use
• Keep product knowledge up to date
• Respond to hotline calls when necessary
• Schedule customer interventions and manage the schedule for the assigned geographical area
• Work closely with the Support Manager and the Regional Sales Director for the Southeast region
