Cepheid, a Danaher company, seeks a Field Application Engineer (FAE) to deliver exceptional post-sales support for GeneXpert systems across France. You will lead installation, adoption, and optimization, partnering with customers to maximize uptime and value. Remote work is available within the region.

Required: Bac+2 to Bac+5 in Biomedical Engineering or related field, 2–3 years in healthcare or lab settings, fluent French, strong English, and ability to travel ~80% of time. Benefits included.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in healthcare, biomedical engineering, medical devices or laboratory environments.
• Experience working with laboratory customers is required.
• Fluent in French; good command of English.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end installation and implementation of GeneXpert systems, including site assessments and connectivity setup.
• Provide training and ongoing technical guidance to ensure proper instrument use and software applications.
• Perform field service activities: troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, and system upgrades.
• Act as the primary customer contact for technical and administrative matters, coordinating with internal teams.
• Manage spare parts and field inventory to ensure uninterrupted support.
