Cepheid, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Field Application Engineer to deliver post-sales support across the French region. You will lead installation and adoption of GeneXpert systems in clinical laboratories, ensure connectivity, and drive uptime while collaborating with customers.

The role reports to the Field Application Engineer Lead, France, and offers remote work from Paris/Ile-de-France. You will train customers, provide ongoing technical guidance, handle spare parts, and coordinate

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Engineering, Biology, or related discipline.
2–3 years of experience in healthcare, biomedical engineering, medical devices or laboratory environments.
Experience working with laboratory customers and knowledge of the diagnostics market.
Fluent in French with good command of English.

Responsabilités

Lead end-to-end installation and implementation of GeneXpert systems, including site assessments and connectivity setup.
Deliver customer training and ongoing technical guidance for instruments, software, assays, reagents and connectivity.
Provide field service including troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, and system upgrades.
Act as the primary customer contact for technical and administrative matters and coordinate with internal teams.
Manage spare parts and field inventory to ensure uninterrupted customer support.
