Malt is hiring a Head of Experience Systems & AI to move its design infrastructure from a static component library to an intelligent experience engine.

The role owns the strategic direction, governance and technical roadmap for the Experience Systems & AI team, sets the final bar for UI quality across Malt, and encodes the brand's design guidelines into the system so generated code and automated output inherit them.

Qualifications

• Systems architect mindset: design underlying rules and frameworks.
• Applied AI literacy: understand LLMs, data schemas and context.
• UI detail with brand DNA to codify polish into systems.
• Leadership experience in design systems or engineering-adjacent squads.
• Fluent in English; strong communication skills.
• Experience with LLM orchestration and data-model structuring.
• Familiarity with design token architecture.
