Applied Materials Europe is seeking a Central Operations Director to lead the European Field Service Organisation and drive operational alignment across SPO initiatives. This role reports to the Regional SPO Head and will manage the Central Operations team to deliver quarterly reports, KPI targets, and productive headcount planning.

Based in France, Ireland, Germany, or Italy, the position offers a path to influence strategy across multiple countries, with strong emphasis on change management,

• People management experience and understanding of the service business.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; highly disciplined and responsive.

• Strong project management with ability to lead multiple global projects.
• Uses analytics and data to drive business decisions.
• Solution-oriented approach to managing complex programs.
• Field Service experience with Applied Materials preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provides leadership within the team and functional areas delivering strategic focus to the AGS FSO.
• Develops, quality and delivery of quarterly operational reports with actionable insights.
• Drives objective implementation by FSO leaders achieving SPO KPI targets.
• Manages headcount for Customer Engineers, Field Managers, Site Admins.
• Maintains operational performance metrics including gross margin and utilization.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support decisions and change management.
• Defines project outcomes, milestones, and resource planning for effective execution.
• Ensures projects follow requirements, cost, resources, and timely completion.
• Documents all phases and ensures knowledge transfer across functions.
• Leverages resources efficiently and supports professional development.
• Leads R&D of new technologies and integrates into products/services as needed.
