AliExpress seeks a legal counsel to support Europe expansion from Paris. You will advise on commercial agreements, compliance, and regulatory interactions, coordinating with global teams and outside counsel.

The role requires EU admission, 5–7 years of experience in in-house or multinational settings, and strong English proficiency; additional French or Chinese language skills are advantageous. Travel may be required.

Formación

• Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in an EU jurisdiction
• 5–7 years of relevant legal experience
• In-house experience at an e-commerce platform or multinational preferred
• English proficiency is essential; French or Chinese is a plus
• Willingness to travel internationally

Responsabilidades

• Advise on legal aspects of Europe-focused expansion and new offerings
• Advise on commercial agreements, business models, operations
• Respond to regulatory requests from EU authorities
• Provide guidance on platform compliance, cross-border logistics, tariffs and product listings
• Research local laws and manage outside counsel
• Draft and review contracts, policies and commercial agreements
• Develop in-house legal tools and conduct trainings to business units
