Arm’s Sophia Antipolis design centre in France offers a Graduate CPU Physical Implementation Engineer role focused on timing, power and area tradeoffs across IP. You’ll work with a cross‑functional team to drive the implementation flow from synthesis to GDSII, including timing, IR drop and ECF checks.

The program targets graduates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science, with opportunities for relocation and visa sponsorship within Europe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science.
• Exposure to synthesis, floor-planning, power planning, clock tree, place and route techniques.
• Experience developing scripts (Python, Perl, Tcl) for automation and working in UNIX/Linux environments.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with CPU design team to identify critical paths and timing bottlenecks across IP development.
• Produce Power/Performance/Area figures and support micro-architecture improvements.
• Analyse tools for enhancements and automation, and trial new tools.
