Mirakl is seeking an experienced Senior Java Engineer with leadership experience to join the Connect team in Paris or Bordeaux, offering one day of remote work per week. You will own critical features, mentor developers, and help shape platform direction.

This role blends hands-on coding with people management in a fast-growing environment. You will drive technical excellence, collaborate across product, design, and R&D, and participate in AI adoption across products and internal processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Java development experience with recent versions.
• Minimum 2 years in a team lead or management role.
• Ability to balance hands-on coding with people management.
• Proven track record delivering complex microservices projects.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Responsabilités

• Drive technical excellence: own user stories, code reviews, design, development, testing and deployments.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery: roadmaps with R&D, align priorities with tech leads, partner with product and design.
• Develop talent and best practices: onboarding, nurture team, recruitment, clean code, testing and pair programming.
• Remove blockers and enable success: resolve technical challenges and arbitration decisions.
• Lead and grow your team: manage 4-5 developers, conduct reviews and foster cohesion across locations.
• Participate in the adoption of AI within our products and internal practices.

The Team You'll Join

You'll be part of our Connect team, reporting to Rémi Fouilloux , Senior Engineering Manager. The team is split between Bordeaux and Paris.

Together, you'll be building and scaling Mirakl Connect, an innovative solution that simplifies sellers' daily lives through a central hub powered by the latest advances in AI.

Location: Based in Paris or Bordeaux office with one day of remote work per week.

Your Impact

• Drive technical excellence : Take ownership of user stories, conduct code reviews, and actively contribute to design, development, testing, and production deployments
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery : Develop roadmaps with R&D, align priorities with other tech leads, and partner with product and design teams to deliver on commitments with high velocity and quality
• Develop talent and best practices : Ensure successful onboarding, identify and nurture team talent, contribute to recruitment, and establish best practices in clean code, testing, and pair programming
• Remove blockers and enable success : Step in to resolve technical challenges, make arbitration decisions, and ensure the team delivers on its commitments
• Lead and grow your team : Manage and mentor 4-5 developers, conducting one-on-ones, performance reviews, and fostering team cohesion and motivation across distributed locations
• Participate in the adoption of AI : within our products but also in internal practices

What You'll Bring to the Role

Experience:

• At least 5 years of Java development experience with recent versions
• Minimum 2 years in a team lead or similar management role, mentoring developers
• Proven ability to balance hands-on technical contribution with people management
• Track record of delivering complex projects in a microservices environment
• Professional proficiency in English
