Mirakl is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Connect team and scale Mirakl Connect, a central hub for sellers powered by AI innovations. You will guide roadmaps, mentor developers, and collaborate with product, design, and R&D to deliver high-quality microservices across distributed locations.

The role requires 5+ years in Java, 2+ years in a leadership capacity, and strong English communication. This hybrid position offers Paris or Bordeaux offices with one remote day per week.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of Java development experience with recent versions.
• Minimum 2 years in a team lead or similar management role, mentoring developers.
• Proven ability to balance hands-on technical contribution with people management.
• Track record of delivering complex projects in a microservices environment.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Responsabilités

• Take ownership of user stories, conduct code reviews, and contribute to design, development, testing, and production deployments.
• Develop roadmaps with R&D, align priorities with other tech leads, and partner with product and design teams to deliver with high velocity and quality.
• Ensure onboarding, identify and nurture team talent, contribute to recruitment, and establish best practices in clean code, testing, and pair programming.
• Resolve technical blockers, arbitrate decisions, and ensure the team delivers on commitments.
• Manage and mentor 4-5 developers, conduct one-on-ones, performance reviews, and foster team cohesion across locations.
• Participate in the adoption of AI within our products and internal practices

The Team You'll Join

You’ll be part of our Connect team, reporting to Rémi Fouilloux , Senior Engineering Manager. The team is split between Bordeaux and Paris.

Together, you’ll be building and scaling Mirakl Connect, an innovative solution that simplifies sellers' daily lives through a central hub powered by the latest advances in AI.

Location: Based in Paris or Bordeaux office with one day of remote work per week.

Your Impact

• Drive technical excellence: Take ownership of user stories, conduct code reviews, and actively contribute to design, development, testing, and production deployments
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery: Develop roadmaps with R&D, align priorities with other tech leads, and partner with product and design teams to deliver on commitments with high velocity and quality
• Develop talent and best practices: Ensure successful onboarding, identify and nurture team talent, contribute to recruitment, and establish best practices in clean code, testing, and pair programming
• Remove blockers and enable success: Step in to resolve technical challenges, make arbitration decisions, and ensure the team delivers on its commitments
• Lead and grow your team: Manage and mentor 4-5 developers, conducting one-on-ones, performance reviews, and fostering team cohesion and motivation across distributed locations
• Participate in the adoption of AI : within our products but also in internal practices
