Mirakl in Paris or Bordeaux is seeking a Senior Java Engineer and Team Lead to drive technical excellence on the Connect platform. You will own user stories, conduct code reviews, and mentor 4-5 developers across distributed locations.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of Java development, 2 years in a leadership role, and the ability to balance hands-on work with people management. The role offers one day of remote work per week in a hybrid setup.

The Team You’ll Join

You’ll be part of our Connect team, reporting to Rémi Fouilloux, Senior Engineering Manager. The team is split between Bordeaux and Paris.

Together, you’ll be building and scaling Mirakl Connect, an innovative solution that simplifies sellers’ daily lives through a central hub powered by the latest advances in AI.

Location:

Based in Paris or Bordeaux office with one day of remote work per week.

Your Impact

• Drive technical excellence: Take ownership of user stories, conduct code reviews, and actively contribute to design, development, testing, and production deployments
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery: Develop roadmaps with R&D, align priorities with other tech leads, and partner with product and design teams to deliver on commitments with high velocity and quality
• Develop talent and best practices: Ensure successful onboarding, identify and nurture team talent, contribute to recruitment, and establish best practices in clean code, testing, and pair programming
• Remove blockers and enable success: Step in to resolve technical challenges, make arbitration decisions, and ensure the team delivers on its commitments
• Lead and grow your team: Manage and mentor 4-5 developers, conducting one-on-ones, performance reviews, and fostering team cohesion and motivation across distributed locations
• Participate in the adoption of AI : within our products but also in internal practices

What You’ll Bring to the Role

Experience:
