Job summary

Mistral AI seeks a founding engineering leader to turn arriving hardware into cloud-ready datacenter fleets. You will build and lead a team from day one, scripting automation and driving time-to-acceptance from weeks to hours.

You will own delivery pipelines, collaborate with Hardware Design and Fleet Health, and scale GPU fleets (H100, GB200-class) with InfiniBand/RoCE fabrics. Travel to datacenter sites will be required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building backend or infrastructure systems.
• 2+ years leading engineers with real people leadership.
• Deep Linux expertise and production Go experience.
• Willing to travel to datacenter sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Build the delivery pipeline in Go for provisioning, configuration, validation, burn-in, network bring-up and software stack install.
• Create and lead the team from scratch, hiring and coaching engineers and setting growth paths.
• Own time-to-acceptance and relentlessly reduce it from weeks to hours.
• Collaborate with Hardware Design and Fleet Health to improve reliability at delivery.
• Manage GPU fleets at scale (H100, GB200-class) with InfiniBand and RoCE fabrics.
