The Christman Company is actively seeking a Project Manager for large-scale commercial construction projects in the Raleigh region. You will lead project teams, coordinate with owners, architects, and subcontractors, and drive planning, scheduling, and risk-management activities to ensure successful project delivery.

Required bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field, plus five years of leadership in commercial construction.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Minimum five (5) years of commercial construction experience in a leadership role.
Completion of classes or training in Construction Management, Project Management, Safety, or Communication.
Or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Responsabilités

Lead development of high-performance teams through supervision, training, coaching and mentoring.
Ensure timely employee performance appraisals and regular feedback.
Provide leadership to motivate the project team and maintain a positive work environment.
Communicate with owners, architects and subcontractors on risk, timetables, costs and change management.
Define scope of work and deliverables for each project phase.
Plan staffing requirements and establish schedules for all project phases.
Prepare bid packages and manage CM bid process including post-bid reviews.
Lead trade contractor relations and coordinate information sharing across teams.
Drive safety awareness and address any unsafe situations on site.
Support business development by leveraging networks and client relationships.
