Houlihan Lokey seeks an experienced Payroll Practitioner to manage multi-jurisdictional EMEA payrolls, primarily for France, the UK, and other regions. You will work with Workday, PwC, and Papaya to ensure accurate payroll processing, tax compliance, and timely payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• 3+ years of advanced multi-jurisdictional EMEA payroll administration
• Experience with Workday, in-house payroll systems and local in-country partners
• Demonstrated understanding of European payroll tax and employment legislation
• Practical knowledge of French payroll legislation, including Impôt sur le Revenu, cotisations sociales, DSN
• Working knowledge of Italian payroll legislation, including IRPEF, INPS and INAIL contributions
• Strong knowledge of shadow payrolls
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data comparisons, and audit reconciliations)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Proven analytical and critical thinking skills

Responsabilités

• Payroll Administration & Operations across EMEA countries with country-specific cutoffs
• Ensure accuracy of Workday data for new hires, changes and terminations
• Coordinate monthly payrolls with PwC and Papaya
• Audit and input salary, overtime, leaves, bonuses and deductions
• Process non-cash benefits like overtime meals and taxi allowances
• Manage prorated calculations and termination payments
• Coordinate funds distribution and timely wire transfers
• Prepare monthly general ledgers and payroll reconciliations for select countries
• Respond to payroll queries in ServiceNow within SLA
• Onboarding and employment document processing in Workday with accurate coding and reporting
• Collaborate on payroll tax compliance and regulatory changes across jurisdictions
