Job summary

OpenAI is seeking an HR Business Partner to support our growing teams across EMEA, with a focus on France. You will partner with Legal, Employee Relations, and People Operations to strengthen employee relations and governance while scaling practices regionally.

You will advise managers on French employment frameworks, lead elections and consultations, and ensure compliant, effective processes across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Approximately 8+ years of HR experience in fast-paced international environments.
• Experience partnering with managers in France and with employee representation bodies (CSE/works council).
• Strong project management and governance capabilities for complex HR processes.
• Operational, execution-focused partner able to manage multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead employee-representative work in France, owning elections, consultations, and governance.
• Build sustainable employee-relations processes with documentation and processes.
• Guide managers on French employment practices and employee representation.
• Drive day-to-day HR execution across EMEA with consistent care.
• Be the go-to partner for frontline managers on health, performance, and policy.
• Support and operationalize People programs across EMEA jurisdictions.
• Triage and resolve employee-relations issues with Legal and COEs.
• Maintain rigorous documentation and coordinate recurring processes.
• Collaborate with HRBPs, Legal, and Total Rewards to ensure a consistent employee experience.
