Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect (EDW Migrations) to lead migration strategy across EMEA, collaborating with GTM leadership, account teams, and product specialists to migrate EDW workloads to the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.

You will develop scalable processes, create assets and guides, mentor regional SAs and SSAs, and act as tier-3 escalation for complex migrations, helping customers achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of customer-facing pre-sales or architect experience.
• Deep knowledge of legacy EDW systems and modernization.
• Experience migrating EDW workloads to Databricks platform.
• Hands-on with Spark, Python and SQL.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Public cloud design and implementation (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with Professional Services and SI partners.

Responsabilités

• Lead regional migration strategy with GTM leadership and account teams.
• Develop scalable migration processes and technical guides.
• Build assessment tooling for migrations from customer engagements.
• Act as tier-3 escalation point for complex migrations.
• Scale presales migration practice by mentoring SAs and SSAs.
• Bridge field insights with product management and engineering.
• Contribute to industry thought leadership and public presentations.
• Ensure successful migration delivery and customer outcomes.
