Databricks seeks a Solutions Architect (EDW Migrations) to lead large-scale migration programs from legacy EDWs to the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. You will partner with regional GTM leadership and account teams to design adoption strategies and craft technical guides for field engineers and partners.

You will mentor the EMEA SA/SSA community, develop presentations and assets, and ensure migrations meet business objectives while aligning with product research and engineering feedback.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of customer-facing experience in pre-sales, architecture, or consulting roles influencing executives.
• Knowledge of legacy Data Warehouse modernization and architectures to migrate workloads to a modern platform.
• Mastery of migration scope and progression from EDW to the Data Intelligence Platform.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Python and SQL; strong communication skills.
• Cloud architecture experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP; collaboration with services partners.

Responsabilités

• Lead regional migration strategy with GTM leadership and account teams for large-scale EDW migrations.
• Architect and refine programmatic assets and detailed technical guides for migrations.
• Develop and integrate assessment tooling to support customer engagements.
• Act as tier-3 escalation point for complex migrations across EMEA.
• Mentor and scale the regional Solutions Architects to ensure adoption.
• Provide feedback loops to Product Management and Engineering.
