Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect (EDW Migrations) to lead migration strategy across EMEA, coordinating with GTM leadership and account teams to drive adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform for large-scale EDW migrations.

You will develop scalable migration processes, build technical guides, and empower field teams and partners to execute migrations while serving as a tier-3 escalation point for highly complex projects and sharing insights with Product and Engineering.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of customer-facing experience in a pre-sales, architect, or consulting role influencing technical executives and driving database modernization strategy.
• Legacy EDW data warehouse experience and modernization understanding to migrate workloads to the Databricks Platform.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Python and SQL; strong data engineering and lakehouse familiarity.
• Public Cloud architecture experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and ability to design scalable data solutions.

Responsabilités

• Lead regional migration strategy and design adoption plans for large-scale EDW migrations to Databricks.
• Develop programmatic and scalable migration processes and detailed technical guides for field teams and partners.
• Build and integrate assessment tooling from customer engagements and drive technical thought leadership.
• Serve as tier-3 escalation point for complex migrations and mentor the EMEA community of Solutions Architects.
