Job summary

HyLight is hiring for an embedded software internship that focuses on architecture, testing, and flight software. You will work on the HyLighter autonomous airship, contributing to software architecture, hardware abstractions, and CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with a small, fast-moving team.

You’ll work with PX4, MAVLink, and QGroundControl, shaping how onboard and ground software are structured, built, tested, and deployed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Embedded Systems or equivalent.
• Previous internship or project work in embedded development or robotics.
• Familiarity with PX4, MAVLink, and QGroundControl.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows and hardware-in-the-loop testing.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to software architecture of onboard and ground systems.
• Develop hardware abstraction layers for sensors and actuators.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for flight software.
• Extend PX4-based firmware and QGroundControl integration.
• Enhance reliability through testing, debugging, and documentation.
